Head Quarters Office of Customs Commissionerate [Preventive]

Commissionerate of Customs Preventive, Vijayawada is located in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a part of Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (erstwhile Central Board of Excise & Customs) under the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

It deals with the execution of levy and collection of Customs, Central Excise duties and IGST, prevention of smuggling and administration of matters relating to Customs, IGST and Narcotics to the extent under CBIC's purview within the jurisdiction of entire Andhra Pradesh except Greater Visakhapatnam City. The Commissionerate is the administrative authority for its subordinate organizations, including Custom Houses, ICDs, CFSs, Customs Divisions, and Customs Preventive Units. This Commissionerate facilitates all the Importers, Exporters, Traders in Customs Matters relating to Imports & Exports.
